尼浊累 "2022 Shanghai Demo"

Hailing from Shanghai, China, 尼浊累 (CONCH in English) is a devastatingly soul crushingly heavy doom-sludge band.

Their music features some of the meanest vocals you will ever hear. The guitars have that sweet spot of distortion where they are not too oversaturated with gain nor are completely fuzzed out, but still have more than enough rough edge to them to get the point across. The bass is nice and round and fills out the bottom end quite well.

This tape, "2022 Shanghai Demo", was mastered by the venerable Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studio and sounds just fantastic. The tape features a bonus track that isn't available on their bandcamp and is completely murdered out. The opaque black tape shell has been laser engraved and the black tape has had black pad printing. Everything about 尼浊累 is at least slightly mysterious or obscured (and for good reason).
